Bandsintown, Apple Music Team Up to Bring Live Event Listings to Streaming

Bandsintown is expanding its reach across Apple’s ecosystem with a new Apple Music integration that brings concert listings directly into the streaming platform through iOS 26.4.

Announced Tuesday, March 24, the integration places Bandsintown-powered event listings on Apple Music artist pages and inside a new Concerts tab within Search, giving fans another way to discover nearby live shows while listening to music.

The update marks a notable step forward for live event discovery on Apple Music. Artists who publish events through Bandsintown for Artists and link their Apple Music profile can now have tour dates appear automatically on the platform. The rollout also extends to venues, festivals, and promoters using Bandsintown Pro, allowing their events to surface natively within Apple Music.

Under the new setup, concert information will appear in two primary areas. On artist pages, users will see an “Upcoming Concerts” section when that artist is on tour. In Search, a new Concerts tab will let fans browse shows by location, genre, and date.

Users who tap on a listing can view event details such as venue information, set lists, and direct ticket links. Apple Music will also send push notifications to alert users when artists they follow have upcoming performances nearby.

The launch builds on Bandsintown’s existing role supplying live event data across Apple platforms including Shazam, Apple Maps, Spotlight Search, Apple Photos, and Apple Music Set Lists. By moving concert discovery deeper into Apple Music itself, Bandsintown is positioning artists to reach fans at the point of listening, when they may be most likely to act on a live event recommendation.

According to the company, events synced through Bandsintown for Artists will appear on Apple Music globally within 24 to 48 hours after an artist connects their Apple Music artist page URL in the Bandsintown dashboard.

Concert listings through the new integration are currently available on devices running iOS 26.4 in public and developer beta, with a wider release expected soon.
